Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use etnosample.com or buy our digital products. We process personal data in line with the EU GDPR and the law of the Republic of Bulgaria.

1. Data controller

2. What we collect

• Contact & support data you send us — name, e-mail, phone and your message (e.g. by e-mail, WhatsApp or Viber).
• Licensing data — the licence request code from our software and your device identifier, used to issue and validate your licence.
• Order data — the products you bought and your order reference, used to confirm your purchase.
• Technical data — basic info your browser sends (IP, browser/device type) and local storage for language and site settings.
• VAT location evidence — IP address, IP country, the country you select at checkout, and payment data from myPOS (transaction reference, card brand/type, last four digits; card issuing country if myPOS sends it). We keep this to determine the place of supply for digital services under Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No 282/2011 and for tax records (NAP).

We do not collect or store your full card number or CVV. Card payments are processed by myPOS. EtnoSample Ltd receives the paid amount, limited payment evidence for VAT, and issues the invoice.

3. Why we use it (legal bases)

• To deliver the product and issue/validate your licence — performance of a contract.
• To provide support and communicate with you — contract / legitimate interest.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations — legal obligation.
• To protect our products against unauthorized use and fraud — legitimate interest.
• To remember your language and settings — consent / legitimate interest.

4. Sharing & third parties

We share data only as needed with: our payment provider myPOS (to complete the card payment), our web host (site files and logs), Google Fonts (may receive your IP to serve fonts), and the messaging providers you use to contact us (WhatsApp, Viber, Gmail).

5. Cookies & local storage

We use only essential cookies and local storage: to remember your language and display settings. We do not use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. When you first visit, a cookie banner records your choice; you can change it anytime via “Cookie settings” in the footer, or clear cookies in your browser.

6. Retention & international transfers

We keep support, licensing and order data as long as needed to provide the licence/support and to meet legal and accounting obligations. Some providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

7. Your rights (GDPR)

You may access, correct, erase or restrict your data, object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time — contact EtnoSample@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection — cpdp.bg.

8. Security & children

The site uses HTTPS/SSL and reasonable measures to protect your data. Our products are not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
